Control of emission reduction technologies
ZAT's traditional product is also the management of emission reduction technologies. We are able to control any technology using our solution based on our own SandRA control system.
DeSOx

        Desulphurisation (DeSOx)
In flue gas desulfurization, SO₂ is removed from the exhaust gases using various methods. The most well-known method is the external absorption reaction with a circulating limestone slurry in the absorber reactor, known as the wet method.
The flue gas desulfurization unit includes all main and auxiliary equipment, including accessories necessary for transporting flue gases from the boilers to the desulfurization unit, for the absorption reaction, unloading, storage and preparation of the absorbent, and for the discharge and treatment of the reaction products.
Monitoring and visualization are provided using products from both Czech and foreign manufacturers. Among Czech manufacturers are software applications from Geovap (Reliance) and Moravské přístroje a.s. (ControlWeb). Among foreign manufacturers, the applications are Aveva (InTouch) and Siemens (WinCC).
The diagnostic system is part of the SandRA Z200 process stations.

Reduction of NO Emissions (DeNOx)
The combustion of fossil fuels generates high NOx emissions. To comply with local emission limits, it is necessary to reduce these emissions - for example, by using ammonia in a technology that doses the appropriate amount for a specific combustion boiler. The challenge lies in the correct dosing of ammonia, where it is crucial to maintain optimal NOx levels while eliminating ammonia emissions.
To control these technologies, ZAT uses its own solution, primarily based on compact SandRA Z210 process stations.
Ash Removal (DeDust)
An ash separator is a device used for flue gas treatment through a dedusting process. To control this technology, we offer our proprietary SandRA Z200 control system or a system compatible with the control of the entire unit, based on customer requirements.
ZAT possesses the know-how to manage separators from all major suppliers.
Reduction of Mercury Emissions (DeHg)
This measure primarily concerns coal-fired power plants, which are the main producers of mercury emissions. Their reduction is already a secondary effect of existing sulfur and nitrogen emission control measures. Technologies for more significant mercury emission reduction already exist, but they are not yet universally applicable to all types of coal or all types of power plants.
ZAT offers a control solution for these new technologies based on its proprietary SandRA Z200 platform, or its compact version, the Z210. In many cases, DeHg technologies can be integrated into the existing boiler control system, typically using SandRA Z200 hardware and software.
